The Dellavalle Grappa Affinata in botti da Marsala 2007 is a high-quality, barrel-aged specialty from Distilleria Roberto Dellavalle in Vigliano d’Asti, Piedmont. For this limited vintage edition, selected pomace is gently distilled in small copper stills to preserve the fine, varietal aromas unadulterated. The grappa then matures in 2007 in selected Marsala casks that previously held the famous Sicilian fortified wine. This barrel aging gives the distillate a warm, complex structure, in which the clear Piedmontese signature harmoniously combines with the sweet-spicy depth of the Marsala. The presentation in an elegant wooden box underlines the special character of this aged bottling.


During the long maturation phase, the Marsala casks impart aromas of dried fruits, caramel, vanilla, and fine woody spice, which smoothly combine with the natural freshness and structure of the grappa.
