The Dellavalle Grappa in Barrique da Picolit 2007 is an elegantly aged specialty from the Distilleria Roberto Dellavalle in Vigliano d’Asti, Piedmont. For this exclusive vintage edition, selected pomace is distilled using traditional methods in small copper stills to preserve the fine, varietal aromas unchanged. The grappa then matures in Picolit barriques, barrels that previously held the precious South Italian dessert wine Picolit. This aging process imparts a delicate sweetness, warm fruity notes, and an elegant wood aroma to the distillate, resulting from the long barrel maturation. Bottled at 42% by volume and presented in a high-quality wooden box, these features underscore the special character of this limited vintage grappa.


Through maturation in Picolit barrels, the grappa develops a complex structure in which ripe yellow fruits, subtle hints of honey, and the natural, clear distillation signature of the Dellavalle house harmoniously combine.
