The Caparzo La Casa Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020 14.5% Vol. 0.75 l is an outstanding Tuscan red wine that embodies the essence of a great Brunello di Montalcino – elegant, powerful, and of remarkable structure. It comes from the renowned Caparzo winery, one of the region's pioneers, which presents "La Casa" as one of its most prestigious single vineyards. This single vineyard is located in the northwest of Montalcino and is one of the appellation's historic crus, known particularly for its microclimatic balance between sun, wind, and soil conditions.


The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso, a grape variety that can fully develop its complexity on the estate's calcareous clay soils. After fermentation, the Brunello ages for 12 months in French barriques and then another 24 months in large French oak barrels with a capacity of 30 hectoliters. This long aging in wood gives it its harmonious structure, depth, and noble maturity.
