The Tormaresca Torcicoda Primitivo Salento IGT 2023 15% Vol. 0.75 l is a full-bodied, profound red wine from Apulia that captures the essence of Southern Italy in a concentrated form. It comes from the renowned Tormaresca winery, which belongs to the traditional Antinori family and is famous for its high-quality wines from the Salento region. The Torcicoda is vinified exclusively from the Primitivo grape variety – the grape that has made Apulia one of Italy's most important wine regions.


The grapes are carefully hand-picked, then gently pressed and macerated and fermented for 15 days in stainless steel tanks at 26 °C. This is followed by maturation and malolactic fermentation in French and Hungarian oak barriques, which gives the wine its velvety structure and fine spice. After 8 months of bottle aging, it is released perfectly matured. Its aging potential of up to 10 years underscores the exceptional quality and development potential of this top wine from Apulia.
