The K+K Kirnbauer FOREVER 2020 is a strictly limited cuvée, vinified exclusively in outstanding vintages and offered in a high-quality wooden box. The composition of 45 percent Merlot, 38 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, and 17 percent Cabernet Franc forms the basis for a red wine of exceptional density and structure. The grape varieties are processed by variety and plot before being carefully blended after individual aging. Vinification includes gentle destemming and precise selection to process only perfectly ripened grape material. After controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, there is a 21-day maceration period and malolactic fermentation in barriques. Aging takes place over 38 months in exclusively new French barriques, which significantly shapes the character of this wine and supports its enormous aging potential. With 14% Vol. and its structure designed for longevity, FOREVER 2020 is excellent for long-term storage – its optimal drinking window extends to approximately 2045.


Its origin from soils such as sandy loam, red loam, and heavy clay gives the wine depth and power, while the careful blending precisely unites its elegant yet powerful orientation. Bottling in spring 2023 allows for a perfect fusion of the individual components and creates a red wine that impresses in its youth and continues to develop its complexity over decades.
