Initially, this Highland Single Malt matured for 18 years in refilled and reconditioned Bourbon Oak Casks before receiving a 15-month finish in Cabernet Sauvignon Oak Casks from the renowned Napa Valley. These premium wine casks give the whisky additional depth, an elegant fruity spice, and a complex interplay of aromas that intensely highlight Aberfeldy's natural style.
