The Bolla Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2020 15% Vol. 0.75 l originates from the heart of the Valpolicella region in Veneto and is one of the most traditional wines of the area. The grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grow here on soils of marl with slate layers, which significantly contribute to the structural density and aromatic depth of the Amarone. Production follows the typical Appassimento method: after harvesting, the grapes are dried for about four months, concentrating sugars and extractives. They are then gently pressed before a 20-day maceration and an approximately 25-day fermentation. Aging takes place in both barriques and large Slavonian oak barrels, ensuring a multifaceted, balanced development. The natural cork stopper underlines the traditional style and value of this DOCG bottling. It is suitable for aging until at least 2036, confirming the long-term potential of the vintage.
