The Rum Company TONKA TONKA, with 40% Vol. in the 0.7-liter bottle, is an exceptional flavored rum specialty that combines exotic spice, maturity, and artisanal precision. This creation was developed by The Rum Company in close cooperation with the renowned spice expert Ingo Holland from "Altes Gewürzamt" in Klingenberg. The goal of this collaboration was to identify the optimal tonka bean to refine a long-aged rum with an intense yet elegant aroma.


The tonka beans used come from the tonka bean tree, which grows primarily in northern South America, especially in Brazil, but also in Trinidad and tropical regions of Africa. The seeds of this tree are known for their distinctive aroma, which evokes associations of vanilla, almonds, caramel, and marzipan. In TONKA TONKA, the tonka beans are deliberately used to add extra depth and complexity to an already aged rum. Through careful flavoring, a unique spirit is created that combines classic rum structure with exotic spice and clearly stands out from the mainstream.
