The Macallan AERA Highland Single Malt is a limited-edition release that was originally developed exclusively for the Taiwanese market and aims to evoke a special emotional connection. With the name ‘AERA’, which symbolises significant stages of life, The Macallan honours important milestones such as school-leaving, professional achievements or weddings. This release is intended as a whisky for special moments and reflects the distillery’s philosophy of combining memories with artisanal perfection.

This Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced at the renowned Macallan Distillery, which is known worldwide for its uncompromising cask selection and its sherry-driven house style. The Macallan AERA has been matured exclusively in sherry casks, which lends it a pronounced depth and a characteristically fruity style. Dried fruit, gentle sweetness and a harmonious structure define this bottling. At 40% ABV, the whisky is approachable, balanced and elegant, without losing any of its character. Its limited availability also makes it a sought-after collector’s item within the Macallan world.
