For the first time, an Ardnahoe Single Malt has been fully and exclusively matured in 100% Oloroso Quarter Casks. This special full-cask maturation in small sherry casks intensifies the wood contact and gives the whisky extraordinary depth, complexity, and expressiveness. The edition is strictly limited to 2,510 bottles as a German Exclusive and is clearly aimed at lovers of powerful Islay whiskies with a pronounced sherry profile.


Characteristic of Ardnahoe, the striking Islay peat with maritime smokiness is also evident here, perfectly harmonizing with the spicy, sweet-fruity aroma of the Oloroso sherry casks. This Limited Edition was bottled at Ardnahoe's preferred alcohol content of 50.0%, without chill filtration and without added coloring. The combination of intense cask maturation, peat, smoke, and sherry spice makes this whisky a new benchmark for modern Islay bottlings and a true collector's item.
