The Tournon Mathilda Shiraz 2023 is an expressive Australian red wine that impressively reflects the style of the renowned Victoria wine region. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in concrete or stainless steel tanks. Maceration for two to three weeks ensures the targeted extraction of structure and tannins. The subsequent aging in neutral tanks preserves the varietal character of the Shiraz, without the influence of wood, and emphasizes the pure fruit, spice, and origin of this Shiraz. After about twelve months of aging, the wine is bottled and presents itself as an authentic, clearly defined Shiraz red wine from Australia with a balanced style.
