The basis of this Japanese pure malt whisky is particularly soft, low-mineral water sourced from the snow-capped peaks of Mount Daisen and filtered through natural rock. This water quality significantly shapes the clarity and balance of the distillate. Maturation initially takes place for three years in carefully selected, charred oak barrels, before a finish in sherry oak barrels gives the whisky additional depth, structure, and complexity.


This Sherry Cask Pure Malt Whisky is bottled at 43% in a 0.7-liter bottle, deliberately non-chill-filtered to fully preserve its texture and character. The pure malt style allows for the blending of several malt whiskies within the distillery, creating a harmonious, clearly defined overall profile.
