The name FORTNIGHT refers to the short 14-day period each year during which Clydeside deliberately distills peated whisky. This targeted production phase complements the distillery's core range and expands the spectrum of the otherwise clean, fruit-forward Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky with a smoky dimension, without losing its typical elegance.


Produced with Clydeside's usual precision, this single malt whisky is made from 100% Scottish barley, malted to 54 ppm with Highland peat. Pure water from Loch Katrine, valued for its quality for generations, is used for brewing. Maturation takes place over six years in Refill Oak Barrels, ensuring the smoke remains controlled and allowing space for fruit and structure. Bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and with natural color, this bottling preserves its full texture and authentic character. Distilled and bottled by Morrison Glasgow Distillers, the Clydeside FORTNIGHT represents a deliberate expansion of the Lowland style with a moderate peaty influence.
