The Hillinger Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a structured and long-lived Austrian quality red wine that interprets the international Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety with a Burgenland signature. Produced by the renowned Leo Hillinger winery, this vintage stands for depth, maturity, and precise barrique craftsmanship.


The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and remain on the skins for five weeks to achieve maximum structure and extraction. Aging takes place for 24 months in barriques, one-third new French oak and two-thirds used French oak. This combination ensures complexity, elegance, and a finely balanced tannin structure. With 13.5% alcohol by volume, the Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 presents itself as powerful and balanced at the same time. The dry style is supported by a well-integrated acidity. Its aging potential of up to 15 years underlines its structure and ability to mature.
