This legal regulation guarantees that Bottled-In-Bond Bourbon is 50% distilled at only one distillery, during a single season, and aged for at least four years under government supervision – in this bottling, even a full seven years, three years longer than required.


The mash bill consists of 51% corn, 39% rye, and 10% malted rye, creating a distinctive high-rye bourbon with a spicy structure. Aging takes place in heavily charred American white oak barrels, with an intense barrel char adding extra depth to the distillate. By foregoing chill filtration, the full spectrum of aromas is preserved. The result is a complex Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch 0002 that harmoniously combines vanilla, toasted oak, sweet caramel, and delicate baking spices. Behind the brand are Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, known from the US series The Vampire Diaries, who poured their passion for high-quality bourbon into this characterful bottling.
