Description
Der Old Ballantruan THE PEATED MALT Unchillfiltered 50% Vol. 0,7 l is a distinctive Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky that deliberately breaks with the typical expectations of this region. Produced in the renowned Glenlivet region, this Peated Single Malt represents an unusual style within Speyside, as heavily peated malt is used here. While Speyside whiskies are usually known for their fruity and mild characteristics, the Old Ballantruan Peated Malt brings strong smoke notes into play and combines them with the classic elegance of the region. Production takes place using traditional methods, with great emphasis on authenticity and artisanal quality. Bottled at a powerful 50% and, of course, unchillfiltered, the natural structure, texture, and aromatic density are fully preserved.
The Old Ballantruan THE PEATED MALT impresses with a balanced combination of strong peat smoke and fine floral and malty notes. The combination of intense smokiness and elegant Speyside stylistics results in an exciting and multifaceted taste profile that appeals to both lovers of smoky whiskies and curious connoisseurs.
