Production is carried out with the utmost precision: hand harvesting, extremely low yields, and intensive mash fermentation over two weeks, followed by another four weeks of mash contact and malolactic fermentation on the mash, ensure maximum extraction. Subsequently, this premium red wine from Austria matures for at least 7 years in used barriques, developing impressive complexity and structure. With a storage potential of up to 20 years, this limited red wine is one of the most long-lived and characterful interpretations from the House of Hillinger.
