The Hillinger JACK without dad! Red 2021 13.5% Vol. 0.75 l is a full-bodied red wine from Austria, originating from the Leo Hillinger winery in Burgenland. Particularly noteworthy is that this wine was vinified by Leo Hillinger's son, also named Leo Hillinger. With this project, the next generation of the winery showcases their own signature style, interpreting the Cabernet Franc grape variety in a modern and independent way. The grapes grow on gravel soils, which lend the wine a clear structure, minerality, and depth. The wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc, a grape variety known for its aromatic intensity, spice, and excellent aging potential.


After careful vinification, the Hillinger JACK without dad! Red 2021 matures for approximately 20 months in new and used barrique barrels, giving the wine additional complexity, fine roasted aromas, and a harmonious structure. With 13.5% Vol. alcohol, this Burgenland red wine presents itself as powerful, balanced, and elegant. The combination of ripe tannins, moderate acidity, and intense fruit lends the wine depth and ensures an aging potential of about 8 to 10 years. This Austrian Cabernet Franc is traditionally sealed with natural cork.
