The Hagn Blauer Burgunder 2023 13% Vol. 0.75 l is an elegant Blauer Burgunder from Lower Austria, beautifully expressing the finesse and aromatic precision of this classic Burgundy grape variety. Produced by Weingut Hagn in Mailberg in the Weinviertel region, the grapes come from the Hochlüssen vineyard, whose loamy-loamy soils offer ideal conditions for structured yet elegant Pinot Noir or Blauer Burgunder quality wines from Austria.


After harvesting, the grapes are quickly crushed and then fermented for 22 days in stainless steel tanks at around 28°C, with pump-overs and aeration ensuring optimal extraction. Subsequent aging takes place 100% in large wooden barrels, giving the wine additional structure and elegance without losing its fruity style. With 13% Vol. alcohol, a recommended serving temperature of 17–19°C, and a drinking window of approximately 2025 to 2030, this Blauer Burgunder from Lower Austria presents itself as a harmonious red wine with a fine balance between fruit, structure, and Burgundian elegance.
