The Cordero di Montezemolo MONFALLETTO Barolo DOCG 2021 14.5% Vol. 0.75 l is considered the flagship wine of the traditional Cordero di Montezemolo winery in the heart of Piedmont. This classic Barolo DOCG from La Morra is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and embodies the essence of the winery's vineyards. The Monfalletto Barolo is a blend of all the parcels cultivated by the winery in La Morra, with the exception of small quantities selected for the top wines Barolo Gattera and Barolo Riserva Gorette. With approximately 14 hectares of vineyards, this wine represents the most significant production of the estate and embodies the history, style, and philosophy of the Montezemolo family.


The harvest is carried out parcel by parcel to ensure optimal ripeness for each site. After careful vinification in stainless steel tanks, the individual batches mature separately before being blended into the final cuvée at bottling. This precise approach gives Barolo Monfalletto its characteristic balance of structure, elegance, and depth. Despite its classic Barolo structure, this wine shows remarkable accessibility and finesse even at a young age. With 14.5% alcohol by volume, a natural cork stopper, a recommended serving temperature of 16–18 °C, and aging potential until approximately 2039, this Nebbiolo Barolo from Piedmont is one of the characterful yet elegant representatives of its appellation.
