Produced in the renowned Prosecco region of Treviso, this high-quality Italian sparkling wine is made from the 100% Glera grape variety, which is responsible for the typical freshness, floral aroma and lively elegance of classic Prosecco wines. The Glera grapes are harvested in September and come from vineyards with medium-heavy soils at an altitude of around 40 metres.


Porta Leone Prosecco Treviso Extra Dry DOC is produced using the traditional Charmat method. After gentle pressing and static must clarification, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in pressurised tanks with selected yeasts and ensures the fine and persistent perlage of this Prosecco DOC from Veneto. With a residual sugar content of around 15 g/l, the extra-dry style is pleasantly fruity, balanced and particularly accessible. At 11% vol., this Italian Prosecco impresses with its lively freshness, elegant structure and animating drinking flow.
