Planteray Rum BARBADOS Single Cask Oloroso Barrel 2017 49.7% ABV 0.7 l is a limited-edition rum from Barbados, part of the exclusive Planteray Single Cask Collection 2026. This special rum is produced from sugar cane molasses at the historic West Indies Rum Distillery, where the molasses is first fermented for two to three days and then distilled using the column still method. Distilled in 2017, the rum is initially matured for three years under tropical conditions in ex-bourbon casks, before being stored for a further four years and four months in Ferrand casks in France. It derives its distinctive character from a final 16-month finish in a former Oloroso sherry cask. After a total of eight years and eight months of cask maturation, this special edition is available at 49.7% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box.
