Planteray Rum PARAGUAY Single Cask Marsala Barrel 2014 45.4% vol. 0.7 l is a limited-edition rum from Paraguay, part of the exclusive Planteray Single Cask Collection 2026. This exceptional rum is produced from sugar cane molasses at the Fortin S.A. Distillery, where the molasses is first fermented for two to three days and then processed using column still distillation. Distilled in 2014, the rum is initially matured for eight years under tropical conditions in ex-bourbon casks, before being stored for a further 16 months in Ferrand casks in France. It derives its distinctive character from a final 27-month period of secondary ageing in a former Marsala wine cask. After a total of eleven years and seven months of cask maturation, this special edition is presented in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box, combining South American rum tradition with European cask finishing.
