The Tschermonegg Roter Muskateller Steiermark 2025 12.5% ABV is a special Austrian white wine from Southern Styria, produced by the long-established Tschermonegg winery. The Roter Muskateller grape variety belongs to the aromatic Muscat family and is characterised by its reddish-coloured berries, from which a white wine full of character is produced. The estate’s high-altitude vineyards offer ideal conditions for the development of this demanding grape variety. The 2025 vintage was characterised by an unusually mild winter, harmonious budbreak in mid-April and favourable flowering conditions. Thanks to the high altitude, the vines were spared frost damage, whilst the hot, dry summer produced small, concentrated berries. The harvest began as early as 1 September and yielded healthy grapes for this dry Roter Muskateller from Styria.


Gentle vinification is at the heart of the production of the Tschermonegg Roter Muskateller 2025. The wine is matured in stainless-steel tanks and then aged for eight months on the fine lees, which enhances its structure and character. The deliberate decision not to use oak ageing allows the grape variety and its South Styrian origin to be expressed authentically. With an alcohol content of 12.5 per cent, this Styrian white wine, presented in a generous 1.5-litre magnum bottle with a screw cap, is particularly well-suited to social gatherings, festive meals and moments of shared enjoyment. The magnum bottle also provides ideal conditions for consistent development during storage. When stored correctly, the Tschermonegg Roter Muskateller Steiermark 2025 has a stated ageing potential of up to five years.
