The 12-year-old malt is considered a medium-weight Caol Ila, yet it shows an impressive combination of crisp phenols, oily structures, and a clear, characterful power. The malt appears pure and white-gold, thanks to its classic maturation in oak casks and the use of coloring to harmonize the hue.
