In 1825, John Wray founded his own rum business, and in 1862, he was joined by his nephew Charles Ward to further expand the company. Their successful collaboration led them to blend various fine rums. This strategy proved so successful that their descendants were able to fully acquire the renowned Appleton Estate in 1916. This allowed them to further refine and improve their product range.

Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum is a barrel-aged Jamaican rum that, after its maturation, is returned to its clear color through a special filtration process using activated carbon filters. This process ensures the rum's purity and its distinctive, clean aroma.
