Nestled between orchards and vineyards lies the historic distillery of Hödl Hof, where noble brandies have been produced for generations according to old Styrian tradition. The quality of the spirits is guaranteed by the use of a 300-liter rough distillation still and a 200-liter fine distillation still made of pure copper. The estate's own fruits go directly from the orchards into the fermentation cellars, where they are gently fermented under temperature control. After the double distillation process, which reflects the essence of old Styrian distilling art, only the high-proof heart of the distillate is extracted. This then matures in wood, glass, or stainless steel to perfect its character.

For this noble hazelnut brandy, fresh hazelnuts are gently roasted to release their intense and nutty aroma. They are then macerated with high-quality wheat grain so that the fine flavor nuances of the nuts can be fully extracted. The macerate matures for several weeks before being distilled. During the distillation process, only the high-proof heart of the distillate is extracted, which ensures the unmistakable quality and full flavor of the brandy. The hazelnuts used come from Genusshof Theurer in Raabs in the Waldviertel, a trusted partner known for top regional quality and sustainable cultivation.

The result is a hazelnut brandy that impresses with its intense aromas, perfect balance, and regional authenticity.
