Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is a company within the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of the oldest industrial groups in India, also known as the Silicon Valley of India.

The group was founded in 1948 by Mr. Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small spirit blending and bottling plant.

The name "Fusion" is central to this bottling, as it harmoniously combines unpeated Indian barley with peated Scottish barley. Initially, the two types of barley are aged separately in bourbon casks for 4 years each.

Subsequently, they are carefully blended and matured for another 3 months in bourbon casks.
