It owes its name to the famous General Don Pedro Gonzales de Mendoza, who also advised Christopher Columbus. In 1887, the Sánchez family started brandy production.
Located in the heart of the Sherry region, this exquisite brandy matures for over 25 years using the traditional, elaborate Solera method. The barrels for this are made of American white oak.
Sherry previously matured in these small oak barrels for several years, and due to the small barrels, the contact of the Cardinal Mendoza Carta Real Brandy is higher, which is not insignificant for the taste.
The Carta Real Brandy from the Sánchez Romate family has won multiple international awards.
