Jägermeister is a globally recognized and traditional herbal liqueur specialty from Germany. With an alcohol content of 35% by volume, it impresses with its unique blend of 56 exquisite herbs, roots, blossoms, and fruits, which gives it its distinctive aroma. The original recipe has remained unchanged since its first production in 1934 and is still closely guarded today.
Production begins with a careful maceration of the botanical ingredients, followed by several months of maturation in oak barrels to perfectly harmonize the flavors. The result is a complex, deeply aromatic liqueur with a balanced blend of sweet, bitter, and spicy notes. Jägermeister is traditionally served ice-cold at -18 °C as a shot, but it is also excellent as a base for cocktails and long drinks.
