Produced from 100% Espadín agave, this mezcal represents the deep tradition of Mexican distillation. After distillation, Lajita Mezcal Reposado matures for several months in American oak barrels, which gives it a mild, rounded structure. The slow roasting of the agave hearts in earthen pits creates a delicate smokiness that perfectly combines with the sweet and woody notes of the barrel aging.
