After distillation, Lajita Mezcal Reposado matures for several months in American oak barrels, which gives it a softer, rounded structure. The combination of slow roasting of the agave hearts in earthen pits and barrel aging ensures a harmonious balance between smoky, sweet, and spicy notes.
