The Bunnahabhain Distillery, situated on the picturesque coast of the Isle of Islay, was founded in 1881 and is renowned for its unique, unpeated whiskies. The distillery originally relied on sea trade, and in 1960, a turning point occurred with the construction of a new road that improved logistics. After a brief closure in the 1930s and the last ship arrival in 1993, the road became the main supply route. In 2006, after being acquired by Burn Stewart Distillers, the brand profile underwent a modern redesign. The water for the whiskies comes from limestone springs and is piped to the distillery without contact with peat, which gives the whiskies their mild, distinctive taste.

Bunnahabhain EIRIGH NA GREINE (pronounced: ae-ree ne gray-nyuh) means "morning sky" in Gaelic and represents the light-filled essence of this special bottling. For this single malt Scotch whisky, selected single malts are blended together, including some of the most exquisite ones matured in former red wine casks.
