In the picturesque landscape of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Gölles, a third-generation farmer, runs the traditional family fruit-growing business. After graduating from the renowned Federal Institute for Viticulture and Fruit Cultivation in Klosterneuburg, he dedicated himself to refining his parents' harvest of apples, pears, plums, and peaches. His foray into distilling noble brandies began in 1979, followed by the establishment of his manufactory for high-quality vinegar in 1984. Today, the range includes around twenty noble brandies and just as many vinegar varieties, which regularly receive accolades.

Gölles Alter Apfel apple brandy matures for over eight years in oak barrels, developing a delicate aroma of vanilla, wood, and roasted notes. This Styrian interpretation of classic Calvados captivates with its ripe fruit aromas and mild woody notes, derived from the distillation of the fruits.
