Description
Deanston VIRGIN OAK Highland Single Malt is created from a marriage of young Highland whiskies that mature in oak casks. The Deanston whisky creation team selects the finest American untreated oak casks, in which the Deanston matures for 9-12 months. The casks for the Virgin Oak come from Kelvin Cooperage, a Kentucky-based cooperage in Glasgow, and are toasted and heavily charred before being delivered to the Deanston Distillery. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor colored.
