For this edition, they collaborated with the famous Bordeaux winery Château Léoville Barton, a Grand Cru Classé in Médoc. The whiskey initially matured in classic American Bourbon and Sherry casks before receiving an additional finish in Bordeaux wine casks from Léoville Barton. This cask management lends it a unique aromatic profile, combining the fruitiness and spiciness of the Irish Pot Still style with the deep, vinous notes of French red wine casks.
