Founded in 1995 by Hans Reisetbauer, the Reisetbauer distillery has established itself in Axberg, Upper Austria. A special characteristic of the distillery is its focus on sustainable agriculture: all raw materials needed for production are organically grown and harvested on their own fields. The entire process, from bottling and labeling to packaging the bottles, is done manually and with the utmost care. With the entry of Hansi Junior, the company underwent a modernization reflected in new designs for packaging, labels, and brand names, combining tradition and innovation.

For the Reisetbauer Raspberry Brandy, only the best raspberries are selected, which must meet strict quality criteria. These raspberries are fully ripe at harvest, characterized by an intense aroma, and must be absolutely free of any contamination. From these first-class fruits, a mash is produced, which is then carefully fermented at around 16 °C to create the basis for the brandy. The production of a single liter of this raspberry brandy requires 33 kg of these carefully selected and mashed raspberries.
