Bacardi, founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862, is one of the world’s most renowned rum brands. On 4 February 1862, Don Facundo Bacardí Massó acquired the first BACARDÍ rum distillery on Calle El Matadero and revolutionised rum production through innovative processes that are still in use today. Using high-quality ingredients and a unique yeast strain, known as ‘La Levadura BACARDÍ’, he created a distinctive flavour profile.

Bacardi Gran Reserva Limitada is carefully selected from the finest cask-aged rums in the Bacardi family. Just a few drops of a younger rum are added to achieve perfect balance and harmony in flavour. The older rums contribute rich oak and caramel notes, whilst the younger varieties impart fresh, tropical fruit notes.

The release is strictly limited, and every bottle is personally signed by Bacardi’s Máximo Maestro de Ron, Manuel Oliver. Furthermore, each bottle bears the bottling date and the bottle number, underlining the exclusivity and special character of this fine rum.
