Austrian Brands GmbH, located in the southern Burgenland region of Austria, is dedicated to the production of spirits. Founded in 1978 in a region with sun-drenched orchards, the distillery initially specialized in processing regional fruit varieties into high-quality spirits. Over time, the company expanded its range to include liqueurs, herbal bitters, and other creations.

Over 400 years ago, in the monastery of the Grey Monks in Neuberg im Mürztal, lived Brother Blasius, a monk with profound knowledge of the forest flora. He not only knew every root but also the healing effects of every herb. His unique remedies gained widespread recognition and appreciation. Named after him, Blasius Kräuterbitter (herbal bitter) combines the art of an old recipe made from 56 selected roots and herbs.
