In the picturesque landscape of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Gölles, a third-generation farmer, runs the traditional family business in fruit cultivation. After graduating from the renowned Federal Institute for Viticulture and Pomology in Klosterneuburg, he dedicated himself to refining his parents' harvest of apples, pears, plums, and peaches. His foray into distilling fine spirits began in 1979, followed by the establishment of his manufactory for high-quality vinegar in 1984. Today, the range includes about twenty fine spirits and just as many vinegar varieties, which regularly receive recognition.

The Hands on Gin Small Batch uses only five essentials steeped in double-distilled white rum for its production. The juniper gives this gin its pleasant spice, which forms the backbone of a fine gin. In addition, blackcurrant together with the white rum provides a pleasantly full mouthfeel and, similar to the juniper, contributes to a fine earthy-herbal note.
