Togouchi is produced by Chugoku Jozo, a distillery located in the town of Togouchi in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The distillery is situated in a natural cave system, originally constructed as a railway tunnel but later converted into an ideal environment for whisky maturation. The cool, damp conditions within the tunnels provide an optimal climate for aging whisky, resulting in a product rich in flavor and character.

To produce Togouchi 15 Years, the distillery employs a unique blending process that carefully selects the finest Scotch malt whiskies and combines them with Canadian grain whiskies. This blend is then aged in oak casks for over a decade. This lengthy maturation process in oak casks ensures a smooth and flavorful product that is highly appreciated by whisky enthusiasts worldwide.
