The Bushmills Distillery, located in picturesque County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips received the first license to distill whiskey in the region. For over 400 years, the art of whiskey production has been cultivated and passed down from generation to generation at the Bushmills Distillery.

Jose Cuervo and Bushmills have launched the "Steamship Collection," an exclusive series for duty-free retail, inspired by the SS Bushmills, a 125-year-old steamship. This ship marked the beginning of Bushmills' international trade in 1890, particularly with the USA and Asia. Bushmills Char Bourbon Cask Reserve from this series is the third bottling and matures exclusively in charred first-fill Kentucky Bourbon casks.
