The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roero area in the municipality of Piobesì d'Alba, only a few kilometers from Alba. What makes Grappa Sibona special is that it holds a unique distillation license, UTF No. 1. This special Grappa Riserva, distilled from the pomace of Moscato grapes and other Piedmontese grape varieties, was initially aged for a long time in oak barrels.

Subsequently, it was refined for several months in barrels on the island of Madeira that previously held Madeira wine from the most renowned wineries. This special aging in Madeira barrels, which has already been successfully applied to whisky barrels, was pioneered by Sibona Grappa for grappa and brings with it excellent quality characteristics.
