After harvesting, these grapes are dried under the hot Spanish sun, which develops a high natural sugar content – the basis for the particularly concentrated, syrupy character of this sherry. It is aged using the traditional Solera system, which gives the wine depth, complexity, and an impressive aromatic density.

With an alcohol content of 17% vol., the Lustau San Emilio offers an opulent yet harmonious drinking experience. It can be stored for about a year after opening, provided the bottle is kept cool and dark.
