In the picturesque landscape of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Gölles, a third-generation farmer, runs the traditional family fruit-growing business. After graduating from the renowned Federal Institute for Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Klosterneuburg, he dedicated himself to refining his parents' harvest of apples, pears, plums, and peaches. His entry into the distillation of fine brandies began in 1979, followed by the establishment of his manufactory for high-quality vinegar in 1984. Today, the product range includes around twenty fine brandies and just as many types of vinegar, which regularly receive awards.

Gölles Alte Williams Pear Brandy matures for eight years in oak barrels, which gives it a distinct aroma of vanilla, wood, and roasted notes. The Williams pear, one of the most frequently distilled fruits worldwide, is known for its characteristic, fruity aroma, which is excellently expressed in the distillate. Despite the long aging period in oak barrels, this pear brandy retains the unmistakable aroma of the Williams pear, making it an exceptional taste experience.
