Description
The Cedar Ridge Distillery was opened by Jeff Quint and his wife Laurie in 2005. In 2009, Kolin Brighton joined to oversee the distillation process. Only local ingredients are used, such as the corn grown on the farm itself. The composition of 25% rye, 25% corn, 5% malted barley, and maturation in new oak barrels are just some key facts about this bourbon. The use of rye gives the whiskey's character many spicy aromas; the corn, however, perfectly balances these with its sweet components.
