The Black Edition Alligator owes its name to the special cask toasting process: The inner surfaces of the oak casks are heavily charred – this process, known as "Alligator Charring," creates a deeply structured charcoal layer reminiscent of alligator skin. This gives the rum an intense roasted aroma, distinctive spice, and pronounced depth, while its fruity and sweet notes remain harmoniously integrated.
