Bumbu XO Handcrafted Rum 40% Vol. 0.7 l stands for opulent rum artistry with Caribbean roots and modern precision. For this bottling, the Bumbu brand draws on a historical rum recipe from the 16th and 17th centuries, originally developed by sailors in the West Indies. Today, Bumbu XO is created in Panama, where the finest sugarcane is distilled and the rum is carefully processed.


Maturation takes place for up to 15 years in selected oak casks, before the rum receives its final finish in Spanish ex-sherry casks. This combination of long cask aging and sherry refinement gives the Handcrafted Rum its distinct depth, elegant sweetness, and complex structure. Maturation under tropical conditions intensifies the cask interaction and ensures a particularly round, softly developed character that clearly sets Bumbu XO apart from classic molasses rums.
