Description
This Hakushu is a Japanese single malt whisky from Suntory. The name Hakushu means "white sandbank" and refers to the rich mineral deposits in the river on Honshu Island that flows to the Suntory distillery and ensures the purity of this whisky. This whisky is a blend of whiskies aged less than 10 years in bourbon casks, older whiskies aged at least 18 years in American white oak casks, and young, heavily peated whiskies aged approximately 12 years in bourbon casks. Shinji Fukuyo, the fourth Master Distiller, personally selected the casks. This Hakushu is the first without an age statement. Limited edition!
