Pfanner Classic Single Malt Whisky is an Austrian single malt whisky from the long-established Pfanner distillery in Vorarlberg. In its production, the distillery draws on influences from the Scottish and Irish whisky traditions, combining these with regional distilling expertise. As a single malt, this whisky is made from malted barley and is characterised by the use of mountain spring water. After distillation, the whisky is given ample time to develop: it matures for a total of five years in selected oak casks. The deliberate use of various selected oak casks helps to create a balanced style and lends the spirit additional structure and maturity.
